Restores permeability closer to new shingles

Asphalt roofs usually start showing signs of aging after five to ten years depending on region and environmental conditions. The shingle's granular coating starts washing into the gutters as the essential oils dry up, losing the ability to hold the granular in place.

Our bio-based rejuvenation product was tested and proven to have an 86% better granular adhesion on treated shingles versus untreated.

When used as a roof maintenance product, it increases shingle flexibility, helps keep granular in place, helps protect the surface, suffocate moss, and improves fire resistance, preserving and rejuvenating the shingles to last longer, keeping them on your roof where they belong.

  • Does My Roof Qualify?

Typically, shingles that are five to ten years old start to show signs of aging, granular loss and could use rejuvenation with the Lakeshore Roofing Rejuvenator product before they start to curl up and become brittle.

Shingles that are curled up at the edges, have significant granule loss or other damage may disqualify a roof for the rejuvenation process.

We do a thorough inspection, searching for ways to REFRESH, REPAIR and RESTORE your roof. Not all roofs qualify for our process, and we will give you an honest evaluation and consultation on your best options.

We need 60% or more of the granules on your roof to qualify.

  • What the Application Process Looks Like

Before applying our rejuvenator, Lakeshore Roofing will perform a roof tune-up of the entire roofing system, with focus on the flashings, the most leak-prone areas and ready the roof for rejuvenation. Any major repairs are to be discussed with your representative.

The application is quick, clean, safe and usually taking less than two hours.

The applicator will spray each shingle once over with our concentrated soybean oil based rejuvenator.

After that, the solution does the rest of the work. Our product was specifically designed for roof shingles. Shortly after being treated the shingle will absorb the solution, restoring shingle flexibility, waterproofing protection and granular adhesion.
